Onur Senturk
Onur Senturk is a director and artist based in London. His early education in traditional fine arts was followed by a degree in animation from college. He gained recognition with his abstract short films Nokta and Triangle.
Afterwards, he began working at Prologue Films, contributing to feature films through design and animation.
His design and art direction on the main titles of David Fincher’s The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo helped launch his directing career.
In 2014, he directed Pens for Amnesty International, which won a Lion at Cannes and several other awards. His directorial style explores opposing concepts and themes, such as perfect vs. imperfect, often combining different disciplines – mixing CGI and practical effects with live action – to achieve an ideal flow and rhythm of motion.
Since the beginning of his career, he has directed films for brands including Asics, Audi, Porsche, Bethesda, Riot, Lipton, Lenovo, Honor, Guinness, Chocapic, Arcelik, Nestle, Vizio, Magnum, Unilever, Netease, and EA.
