Miguel Rato
Miguel Rato is a Director, Designer and Animator from Portugal with a strong focus on storytelling and visual design. With a background in graphic design and nearly two decades of experience in the industry, he works across both 2D and 3D, moving fluidly between hands-on craft and creative direction.
He has collaborated with some of the world’s most respected studios and brands, creating and directing visuals for advertising campaigns keynotes, channel rebrands, videogame cinematics and trailers, feature films and TV series. His client work includes projects for Hublot, Microsoft, Apple, Meta, Activision Call of Duty and Electronic Arts amongst others.
Outside of design, Miguel is deeply passionate about travel and photography, having explored some of the most remote areas of the planet and documented those journeys through his lens.
